October 22nd – November 2nd, 2018
12 days and 12 nights
Whether you are a textile enthusiast or an adventure traveler that wants to experience traditional Andean life far off the beaten path, accompany us on a remarkable journey. Visit remote weaving communities accompanied by Quechua master weaver Nilda Callañaupa, and try your hand on a backstrap loom and drop spindle. Along with in-depth expereinces with the descendents of the Incas, encounter many of the greatest archaeological sites of the Incan Empire along the way.
Each year our sister non-profit Andean Textile Arts offers a yearly tour to the weaving communities we partner with. If you’re interested in joining us for a future tour, please email ATA board member, Pam Art at firstname.lastname@example.org For more information on this year’s tour, please visit ATA’s website.
